How It Works:
1. Open a blank journal entry page and identify your emotion. If you need help identifying your emotion refer to the emotions chart page. The emotions chart is composed of six main emotions and their secondary emotions.
2. Once you have identified the main emotion you are experiencing, find the corresponding words of affirmation cards.
3. Spread the cards out before you with the affirmation side down. Then draw the card that is calling to you.
4. Then place the words of affirmation card on the easel provided and put it in a place where you can look at it regularly throughout the day.
The journal provides space to write the affirmation three times throughout the day. Each time you write it also say the affirmation out loud.
At the end of the day take some time to reflect and write your thoughts down about what you experienced during the exercise and the action steps you will take to implement the affirmation in your everyday life.
